Hotel Brown - Chihkan Branch - Tainan

During my recent three-night stay for a leisure trip, I enjoyed my time at this hotel. Its location was fantastic, allowing me to explore several major attractions on foot. The room was impressively spacious and impeccably clean. I appreciated the little touches, like the complimentary non-alcoholic beverages in the open area and the convenient water refill station in the lobby. The staff were helpful, providing an adapter for my electronics without hesitation.

I can just recommend this hotel.

really comfortable stay, as always. straightforward and clean place overall with magnificent location by another restaurant. location very close to the main train station, all the main attractions and the city center. right next to peichi temple.

I had such a great time staying here for Christmas! The location was perfect - just a short walk to many amazing sights and close to the train station. The room was spacious and clean, and bonus points for the super helpful staff who even provided a water refill station in the lobby! Plus, having a cozy Australian cafe next door for breakfast was a fantastic way to start my days.

I did encounter a couple of hiccups. Breakfast took way too long to prepare when I wanted takeout, which was a bit stressful. I wished there was more storage in the room for clothes, and the tissue paper instead of toilet paper took some getting used to. But overall, these were minor things in an otherwise lovely stay!

The room here is quiet, the bed and pillows are exceptionally comfortable, and it's great to have climate control, a multi-channel television, and a refrigerator.

The walls of the hotel are quite thin, making it easy to hear noises from neighboring rooms.

The hotel itself wassuper clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly and were pretty good too assist us. Despite the small rooms, we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for its friendly vibe and fantastic location.

This hotel is located in a great spot, right next to a landmark that Lonely Planet suggests visiting - Chihkan Tower. The staff here were very friendly and spoke excellent English, making check-in a breeze. They even gave us a little welcome gift! The room was spacious and clean, with nice touches like complimentary bottled water and a selection of teas.

No major negatives to mention - everything was just fine with our stay.

We spent our Christmas holidays at this hotel and it was such a treat! the staff were incredibly friendly and spoke good English. They even gave us two complimentary drinks upon check-in! the location was fabulous. We were in the heart of the city near many temples and restaurants. Our room was also very clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed that made it easy to sleep.

Our room was on the smaller side and we could hear our neighbors through the thin walls. there was no toilet paper provided, which seemed like a strange oversight considering the price of the room.

Clean and comfortable hotel in great location, helpful staff, new facilities with high speed wifi, near public transportation and delicious eateries.

The location was great, very close to many attractions. The breakfast served at the restaurant nearby was delicious and affordable. the bed was comfortable to sleep in.

On Easter day, the hotel did not have any special events or decorations, which was quite a disappointment. The room was also smaller than expected, and the bathroom amenities were not replenished daily.
